Another school year is upon us and the summer
has, as usual flown by! We have loved every
minute of it, but now it's time to get back to work.
The boys were willing to pose for this picture
on the porch just befor heading off to tackle the
day. Burk was especially excited for his first day
of 1st grade! Nate's favorite subject: P.E.
Burk's faviorite subject: lunch! (and reccess)
Mikah is our studious one. She loves to read
and did so all through the summer. She is
very happy to be back in school. Her favorite
subject: Spanish.
Here we are, the Hansen kids ready for the first
day of school. All three of the older kids, Nate,
Mikah, and Burk are attending the Lakeview
Academy. It's a charter school and yes, as you
can see they get to wear the lovely school
uniforms. Actually, they don't seem to mind
and it's more simple than choosing a new
outfit to wear everyday. It's makes my job so
much easier!
The first day proved to be very tiring for Burk
who was not used to the early mornings. After
school he crashed for about an hour. I can't
remember the last time he took a nap during the
day!.......Welcome Back!

What will it be like when the twins are in school... heaven?
I send Brooke to Kindergarten next year...whatever will I do with all of my free time?
I am counting down the days when the babies are in school and my day will be all mine! Although, I'm really don't know what I'm going to do with myself!

Ugh, I can't believe how old your kiddos are! Geez! Having two at home will probably be so much easier for you! You guys are such great parents--that's awesome that Micah loves spanish!

stressful... lol very much.. well the ex-wife is more stressful then the kids b/c they're both underdevleoped and she thinks that she knows everything but obivously she doesnt cuz jared is one and isnt standing or anywhere near walking and bella is 2 1/2 and she isnt really talking clearly.. I dont know what else to do for jared... I do standing excerises with him but I take them two steps up and she takes them one step back.. *sigh help!! I need other ideas of how to help him....
oh my gosh! the kids are so grown up! We miss you guys! We are finally on this blog thing and apparently are the last ones! Good to see an update on ya'll!
